After this lesson, you can

  • Explain AlphaBlue's website-first business model.
  • Separate the partner's role from AlphaBlue's responsibilities.
  • Understand referral-only and assisted partner modes.

The model in one sentence

AlphaBlue starts with a clear, affordable website service for local businesses, then supports the ongoing digital work that a growing business may need.

The website is the first useful outcome. It gives the owner a credible online address, a place to explain the business, and a reliable route for enquiries. It is also the start of a longer relationship, not the only service AlphaBlue may ever provide.

Why Partners matter

Local business decisions often begin with trust. An owner is more likely to listen when a known advisor, supplier, customer, or community contact explains the service in plain language.

A Partner adds value by:

  • understanding the basic website and service concepts;
  • sharing current, approved information without exaggeration;
  • using an attributable referral link;
  • handing payment, scope, production, and support to AlphaBlue.

The goal is not to collect the most registrations. The goal is to create qualified conversations that can become healthy customer relationships.

Who does what

The partner

  • Finds suitable local businesses.
  • Starts the conversation and shows relevant examples.
  • Uses official links, prices, and scope.
  • Helps the customer understand what information to prepare.
  • Hands complex or uncertain questions to AlphaBlue.

AlphaBlue

  • Owns pricing, checkout, contracting, production, and quality assurance.
  • Confirms scope and any approved exception.
  • Receives customer payment.
  • Provides the customer portal and delivery process.
  • Handles ongoing support, billing, and commission settlement.

The customer

  • Chooses the package and pays through the official checkout.
  • Provides accurate business information and publishing permission.
  • Reviews the work and gives consolidated feedback.
  • Keeps ownership of their business accounts and assets.

Two partner modes

Referral-only is the simplest route. The partner shares a tracked link, and AlphaBlue handles the sales and delivery process.

Assisted is for approved partners who need to help with structured onboarding. It may provide limited access for a specific task, but never unrestricted access to unrelated customer information.

Neither mode makes a partner an employee, franchisee, payment collector, or legal representative of AlphaBlue.

Knowledge before scripts

Academy Lite teaches the Partner enough to explain the product and program accurately. It does not require one fixed sales script.

Discovery questions, objection handling, and share copy can be added later in a separate Sales Toolkit after real Partner conversations show which support is useful.

Check your understanding

Choose one answer for each question. You can review and try again.

1. Can a partner promise an unlisted discount on AlphaBlue's behalf?
2. Who receives the customer's payment?
3. Does referral-only mode grant access to customer records?
